Frequently asked questions

I found a piece I really like. What kind of payment will you take?
We gladly accept cash, checks (if from a local bank), Visa, Mastercard and debit cards.

I like the furniture but I'm short of cash. Do you accept layaway?
I'm sorry but we're not able to do layaways, we don't have the storage space. We may be able to hold it for a few days if you can't pick it up immediately.

I really like one of the pieces. Can you order another just like it or one to match?
Most items are one of a kind, especially the recycled ones. If it's new, we might be able to order additional pieces, just ask. There are some items available from wholesalers. If you don't see what you're looking for, just ask us, we'll do our best to find what you're looking for.

Do you deliver?
Yes. There is a charge of $60 for delivery in Olympia, Lacey and Tumwater. Delivery elsewhere may be possible but we'll need to talk to determine the cost, it varies by delivery location.

It's the wrong color/size/style. Can I return it?
We're sorry but all sales are final.

Is there any kind of furniture you don't sell?
In general, we do not sell antiques, country style, or early American furniture. Our collection is modern eclectic. We favor contemporary, retro and "shabby chic" furniture. We do not carry used mattresses and box springs, but we do sometimes have bed frames.

What do I do with my old furniture?
If it's in good condition and we think we can sell it, you might be able to consign it with us or we might buy it. If we can't sell it, we can recommend auction houses or ways you can donate it to those in need.

Do you repair furniture?
No, we don't. But we have always been happy with quality of work from Nelson's Furniture Works (not affiliated with us) and we recommend them. We also recommend Don Sordahl for reupholstery work.

I want to consign some furniture with you. How do I do that?
We'll both sign an agreement that spells out how long we'll sell it, how much we will sell it for, and what our fee will be. There is more information on our Consignments page.

Do you help load (and unload) furniture?
We'll help if we have both the time and physical ability, but sometimes we have neither. Please be prepared to load your own furniture or to unload your consignments (unless, of course, we're delivering). Thanks for your understanding.
